World of warcraft - Inte min grej
Jag har inte faktan och siffrorna, men jag antar att Wow är det populäraste spelet att cosplaya?
Enda sedan Blizzard släppte Wow i slutet utav november månad 2004, så har folk konstant tjatat på mig att börja spela Wow. Grejen var bara den att Wow tilltalade mig inte alls, jag gav Wow en chans 2006 någon gång. Och ärligt talat fattade jag inte vad folk var så lyriska över.
Men smaken är väl som baken antar jag. Det ska ju dock också nämnas att jag inte spelar mycket mmorpg alls annars heller. Jag har liksom inte tid med det. För det andra så föredrar jag RPG spel med tydliga mål och slut.
Jag ska dock erkänna att jag såg fram emot Fallout online, det hade mycket väl kunnat bli en utav ytterst få mmorpg titlar som jag tagit mig tiden att spela. Men det gick som det gick där, nedlagt var ordet. Det finns dock saker som jag gillar med Wow fast jag inte spelar det.
Nämligen allt runt omkring Wow. Fansen, de som cosplayar, eventen, och det faktumet att wow betytt (och fortfarande gör) väldigt mycket för spelbranschen i stort. För att inte nämna vilken påverkan Wow haft på världen och popkulturen (Southpark, "Make love" not Warcraft").
För att inte tala om alla de humoristiska och underhållande Wow videos som skapats sedan dess release för snart 7år sedan. Ta bara klippet som jag fann idag t.ex. lol och mer lol.

I used to play WoW but I agree with your points. Once you're done leveling, you're just wasting a lot of time since there's no clear end-goals except to get really good gear. To me, it gets tiresome since you're running the same raids/instances over and over again. Good read!

Well, let´s just say that since the release of Wow. People have tried to get me hooked up on It. But I turned It down over and over again, for more then one reson.
I love Blizzard, I have done that since Warcraft 1. But Wow ain´t my kind of game, I don´t play much mmorpg games at all In fact.
Becouse I don´t have the time for It, and I see most mmorpg games as pointless. I want an real end, and not an ever on going adventure.
And to be totaly honest, the only mmorpg game I ever liked, was Ultima Online (im talking about the very first one In the series).
Cus Im the hardcore RPG kind of guy, and Im not much for mainstream (for dummies made) RPG titles. I love the old school rpg games, such as Baldurs Gate, Fallout and Icewind Dale.
But at the same time, Im glad that Wow are still around. Cus It makes people happy, gets people together, some even fall In love for real.
Wow also did a great favour for the video game industry, by making It more acceptable, cool and a part of popculture.
