Doom Reborn - Doom 1 with the graphics of Doom 3
It seems like Gamehacker´s Doom 3 mod "Doom Reborn" are getting closer and closer to a stable version (none alpha version). Cuz the latest version of Doom Reborn (v0.82) offers even more fixes and tweaks. But im going to wait until Doom Reborn has left the Alpha stage.
Besides, im busy with Brutal Doom v19 ;) But if you (our dear reader) don´t have anything neat to play for the moment. Then you should most definitely give Doom Reborn a try. At least if you like the Doom series in general.
About Doom Reborn:
"Doom Reborn is a total conversion mod for Doom3 of the original Doom Series. Our goal is to recreate the original Doom & Doom 2 in the Doom3 engine with new textures and new models of the original weapons and monsters with the maps redone and retextured.
We also want to bring back the orignal doom hud but retextured and with a 3d model of doom guys head in the center (simlar to q3 & et). we will have a look a remaking the orignal music along with the sounds. I hope that you will enjoy the project as much as we will enjoy making it for you."
Skywind - The Resurrection of Morrowind
Morrowind are back In business again!
Even though Bethesdas Skyrim are far from a bad game (It´s epic In almost every single way). "Some" people still think that Morrowind are a way better game. I have to agree to that, at least when It comes to a open world. Because In Morrowind, the world are really open.
I could explore the world for hours! So Im not that surprised to hear that more and more people, fall In love with the Skyrim mod "Skywind". Cuz It really takes the best parts of both Skyrim and Morrowind, and weld them together.
So If you´re a fan of the TES series. Then you don´t wanna miss out on Skywind!
What IS Skywind exactly?
"It is a non-commercial, fan made modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that seeks to merge the amazing world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with the enhanced graphics and capabilities of Skyrim's engine.
While ownership of both games is required to play, the player only actually plays Skywind using the Skyrim game, and not the older Morrowind game. This means that the user interface, combat, graphics, and system requirements for the Skywind mod are all those of Skyrim, and NOT Morrowind."

2013 Mod of the Year Awards - Topp 100 listan
Brutal Doom v19 BÖR hamna på 10 tio listan imo.
Så har alltså startskottet för 2013 Mod of the Year Awards dragit igång. Inom 5 dagar (och några timmar) så ska alltså 10st moddar utav 100 moddar väljas ut. Konkurrensen kommer med andra ord att bli ännu hårdare. Så må bästa modd gå vidare!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Misery 2.0
Det här är helt klart ingen modd för de som redan tycker/tyckte att S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat var/är svårt. För True zones "Misery" modd, förvandlar nämligen Call of Pripyat till en realistisk mardröm. Man dör mycket enklare, fiendernas a.i har blivit mycket smartare m.m.
Allt är dock inte utav ondo. För även grafiken, musiken m.m. har blivit förbättrat. Så känner man sig för att ta sig an en riktigt jäkla tuff utmaning (ultimate survival skills deluxe, typ). Då är det S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Misery som gäller.
Trailern gjorde i alla fall mig nyfiken.
Classic Doom 3 - Upplev Doom med Doom 3s grafik
Så fort som jag klarat ut Doom 3 + expansionen. Då är det Classic Doom 3 som gäller!
Tackvare att en vänlig herre vid namn "ValugaTheLord" kommenterat på min Brutal Doom video. Så fick jag tidigare idag höra talas om den uber coola Doom 3 modden "Classic Doom 3" (varför tusan har jag inte hört talas om den tidigare?).
I korta drag så är Classic Doom 3 en remake utav det första Doom spelet, fast med Doom 3s grafik då. Så man skulle väl kunna kalla modden för "Doom Remake" egentligen. För det ligger ju väldigt nära sanningen faktiskt.
Hur som helst. Classic Doom 3 modden har ett snittbetyg på 9.3/10 på ModDB. Så jag ser ingen som helst anledning till att ni INTE skulle ladda ner modden. I alla fall inte om man älskar Doom.
