Due the fackt that the big indie event "IndieCade" are just around the corner now (it takes place in Culver City, California, US). I thought that it could be good idea to inform you guys about it. And honestly, i wouldn't have heard about IndieCade.
If it haven't been for a indie developer that asked me (us) if we wanted to meet up at IndieCade. Sadly enough though, we won´t be able to be at site this year (we got a new site in the making!). But we will try to cover the event as good as we can.
But if you´re able to visit the IndieCade event. Then you can get a 3-day pass for 90 bucks. And if that´s the case, don´t forget to have a blast ;)
There´s so many awesome games that will be shown at EGX London. And one of them are Jagex Games Transformers Universe. But that´s just the half of it.Because apparently both Pandemic and Outsider got shown at EGX London as well.
And they will also be showcased on the Twitch stage tomorrow (5pm BST). And from what we been told, Pandemic and Outsider should now be available in the live beta of Transformers Universe. So if you got access to the live beta. Then you should be able to play as either Outsider or Pandemic.
25th September 2014: To celebrate Transformers Universe’s presence at EGX 2014, Jagex are delighted to introduce Pandemic and Outsider to the ever growing barracks of warriors. Both are now available in the game’s live beta and will also be showcased on the Twitch stage at the event from 5pm BST on Sunday the 28th September.
Pandemic is the first warrior to bring ‘controller’ status to the Decepticons - an inventive new sub-class that can weaken, trap and manipulate enemies against their will. Utilizing his versatile armory, Pandemic is able to inflict insidious viral infections, grapple enemies, drag them to his position and then temporarily disable their currently equipped weapon. While being all about locking his adversaries down, he can also hold his own in an offensive capacity and still escape retaliation in his stylish sports car vehicle form.
In every arms race there needs to be a counter-deterrent, and this comes in the form of Outsider for the Autobots. Equipped with a fearsome array of assault weaponry, his true talents for control come from his equipment load-out.
The Localized GroundBridge acts as a short-range teleportation device that allows him to drop into combat, attack enemies and then blink back to the location where his Unstable Receiver was previously placed. Not only that, but Outsider can also employ the same teleportation technology to generate a Matter Anchor – a deployable gravity well that binds enemies and drags them towards its center.
Both Pandemic and Outsider expand the ever increasing strategic diversity of the game, and re-emphasizes Jagex’s commitment to bring new and exciting content to all combatants within Transformers Universe. PC and Mac players can choose to install the Transformers Universe client, or play the game directly in their browsers at www.transformersuniverse.com.

Otakon 2015 will kick off in July next year (Baltimore, US).
Over 20,000+ and more con goers go to one of the most well-known and established anime conventions in the USA. if you have not heard about Otakon now is the time! Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Otakon is one of the largest and longest running anime convention in the United States.
Otakon takes place August 8-10 and have been around since 1999, taking over majority of Baltimore’s inner harbor area. Recently, it has been announced that Otakon will be taking place in July of 2015 and will be moving to Washington DC in 2017,Otakon is known for being one of the longest running anime conventions.
Uniqueness: Otakon has an event called Matsuri it is held always on the Thursday of the convention. They are very kind about this particular event even letting non badge members participate in this event. Having a staff lead the way and maps making it easier to not get lost.
It is held at the Baltimore shore park, at the 2014 convention a yukata contest is held, open for all ages and 35 contestants can enter. Usually it is judged by:
• Authenticity (How traditional your Yukata is. Last year we had many contestants who had worn Kimono instead of Yukata, there is a difference, so make sure you do your research on the difference and ensure that you are wearing a Yukata);
• Uniqueness (How much your Yukata is different than others, what makes your Yukata stand out among others);
• and Presentation (How well you can show off your Yukata, and how well you can work the crowd while wearing it)
Performers also attend this event such a USA sumo wrestler champs, performers and even food vendors it’s an event you don’t want to miss while attending Otakon it kicks off the convention perfectly.Otakon also has a gigantic dealers room where some con goers honestly get lost in and can’t even find the exits, but beneficial because there is a lot of vendors looking to sell their merchandise.
Another unique factor is, the art show letting artist showcase their work to big crowds of people to see. Being not similar to the artist alley the art show gives artist the chance to auction their work whether it be silent or live auction.
Lastly, they have a room called the photo suite and it is where everyone can go and get their photos taken by well-known photographers in green screens and also the photos will be put in the archive to be a part of Otakon history and it is a great way to show off your cosplay and or civilian clothes.
Three day: 80$
They do NOT sell individual badges.
In 2014 of Otakon many popular guest attended this event, from Katie Griffin to Tony Oliver to Wendee Lee and popular cosplayer YayaHan and many other guest that went to attend this convention. For 2015 it is still TBA until announced.
Otakon has the same events as most cons which is raves, dealer’s room, artist alley, hallway contest and maid cafes, autographs sections and maid cafes, making it a common setup at conventions.
Otakon is a con to watch out for, it is one of most established and big enough for anyone to easily be entertained including a man rapping about ice cold water for the heat, mark your calendars and make Otakon next on your list of conventions!
Check out the videos below of this wonderful convention!

It was just pure luck that i even heard about the upcoming Point and Click Jam event. In fact, it´s because i noticed that the creators of Point and Click Jam are now following us on Twitter. So what´s the event all about then?
Well, basically the whole idea would be for people to make a adventure game within 15 days. Of course, there´s a set of rules which must be followed. For example, the graphic style must be of 80 and 90s origin (think the golden era of point and click adventure games, and you will be just fine).
So, when does the Point and Click Jam event start then? To be exact, in 72 days (in November). And you will find all the info you need down below. So, good luck people!
Create a Point and Click adventure in 15 Days.
- The game can be of any size/length.
- It must resemble the graphic style of a game from 80s/90s (LucasArts / Sierra / Delphine etc).
- It must look / sound / feel / play as if it is from a retro system (of your choice) using it's respective palette and resolution.
- It can use a SCUMM Verb/Object style system, or something of your own creation.
Tweets with the hashtag #pointclickjam, screenshots, video uploads, and blog posts of jam games will be pulled into the feed while they're being worked on.
