Ptt! Like, stop kidding me now. But just the other day i saw this "David bowie MGS theory" picture on Twitter. And things didn't look as far off (farfetched) and stupid anymore. So it really seems like Konami has "borrowed" quite a few of Bowie´s character transformations throughout the years.
But what do you guys think? Is it just a coincidence that a handfull of MGS characters have the same exact look as Bowie?
Not only has Paradox Interactive partnered up with Obsidian Entertainment (regarding "Pillars of eternity"). Paradox are also planning to release Hearts of Iron 4 during the first quarter of next year. So Paradox will be hard at work with HOI4 to finish it in time.
Which imo, looks like a really great game. So i really hope that HOI4 will become the very best Hearts of Iron in the series, once it hits the market next year =)
"From the heart of the battlefield to the command center, you will guide your nation to glory and wage war, negotiate or invade. You hold the power to tip the very balance of WWII. It is time to show your ability as the greatest military leader in the world. Will you relive or change history? Will you change the fate of the world?"
Fantasia, like you never seen or heard it before.
I still remember when i watched Disney´s original version of Fantasia (the one from 1940). I was just a little kiddo at the time. So some of the scenes scared me quite a bit. But i enjoyed all the magic and music in the movie. So i guess that i just accepted the scary parts.
But that wasn't exactly yesterday. And it´s been years since i saw Fantasia the last time. So i was quite suprised when i heard about Disney Interactive´s and Harmonix ´s Disney Fantasia : Music Evolved (for Xbox One and 360).
Because it came out of nowhere. Anyhow, Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved seems to be a really cool music game. And thanks to Kinect, and artists such as David Bowie and the White Stripes. I´m quite sure that the game will offer the players a really neat gameplay experience.
Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved are btw set for a release this year =)

Honestly, when i first heard about Coffee Stain Studios "Goat Simulator" game. I thought that it was just yet "another" farm simulator kind of game. I´m glad that i was wrong. Because Goat Simulator are like the goat version of Garry's Mod (check the trailer).
And guess what? Goat Simulator will be released via Steam tomorrow! =) (it´s yours for $10).
About Goat Simulator:
"Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! WASD to write history.
Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, and you'll earn even more points! Or you could just give Steam Workshop a spin and create your own goats, levels, missions, and more! When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.
Disclaimer: Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat."
Planets3, now better than ever before.
The people at Cubical Drift are hard at work with their 3D open-world voxel-based RPG game "Planets3". And just recently they added quite a few new features to Planets3. Some of those features are really cool imo. So i just hope that Planets3 will reach it´s Kickstarter goal ($250,000).
Time is running out very fast though. There´s just 5 days left on the Kickstarter clock now. And there´s still 57,000 bucks missing. So if you wanna see Planets3 happened. Then you better show the game some love on Kickstarter asap!
"March 28, 2014 - Cannes, France: Planets³ developer, Cubical Drift, are thrilled to announce that funding is well underway to reach and surpass its KickStarter goal of $250,000 and have revealed some fabulous new incentives.
Would-be and current backers may now add an additional $10 for an extra digital download to give to friends and family. Add an additional $20 and backers get 3 pets that have unique abilities to help players early on in the game.
“We wanted backers to get something that would make them feel special when starting to play our game. Something that feels unique,” - Michel Thomazeau, Project³ Project Director - “Why does your cute pet have abilities? Because I'm a Kickstarter backer!”
NOTE: Alpha-code is now available, so please get in touch with the press contact if you are interested to have a look."
- In Planets³ every player will be able to create his own server and invite friends to it.
- Characters will have different statistics that can improve and level up with actions within the game. For example, your “power” can be improved by using heavy tools and weapons, and your “vigor” will be increased by exerting yourself when tired.
- Storylines will be playable in multi-player and all the progression will be stored on the server.
- New armour, including armour specific to female characters.
- Taming of certain wild animals, to become pets, will be possible.
- KickStarter backers also have the possibility to have exclusive pets with specific and unique skill sets.
I got death served to me. Right in the face. I have never seen or experienced anything like this in Brutal Doom before. Hell, i didn´t even know that the revenant could do a special attack like that (100% death on hit).
So i made a video of the whole thing. Please enjoy ;)
Well look at that. SEGA and Creative Assembly has finallynailed down a release date for Alien Isolation (PC, PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One). It toke a while to do so. But now it´s official. So mark October the 7th in your Gamer calender.

Yep, you will get the great pleasure to play as Harley Quinn IF, you pre-order Batman Arkham Knight.
I knew from the very start that things would go very wrong with Batman: Arkham Origins. The most obvious thing would of course be the lack of Rocksteady Studios involvement in the development process. So the shit hited the fan (literally) with Batman: Arkham Origins.
The game received very blended reviews and feelings from fans and the media alike. So when i heard about Batman Arkham Knight (PC, Xbox One and PS4), and the return of Rocksteady Studios. Then i started to feel hope for the Batman series again.
And the very first trailer of Batman Arkham Knight calmed my nerves even more. So i really hope that it´s true that the release will take place on the 14th of October this year. Cuz i just wanna forget all about Batman: Arkham Origins asap.
About Batman Arkham Knight:
"In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman."
Just in case you wonder. Mudlarks takes place in London.
If you're not familiar with the Gamer expression "SSDS" (sierra sudden death syndrome). Then you're most likely not born in the 70s or 80s. Because way back in time. Sierra On-Line made a handfull of adventure games where the player could die at any given moment.
The early Space Quest and Kings Quest games are a perfect example of this. But "hopefully", Shaun Aitcheson´s Sierra-inspired adventure game "Mudlarks"(it´s a free-to-play game). Won´t have a lot of those SSDS moments.
"A bit of the story... Your name is Winston. You are very much a regular, normal chap - living in London with your girlfriend and holding down a 9 to 5 office job. Among your various hobbies, you are a mudlarker. That is, the practice of combing the shore of the River Thames for historically interesting objects that may have gone underwater hundreds of years ago.
One day, you and your co-mudlarker Vincent stumble upon what appears to be a valuable golden locket - and your destiny is changed forever. Two days after the find, Vincent disappears on the shore, leaving only the locket behind... What follows is an atmospheric dialog and puzzle driven adventure game, bringing together elements of science fiction with a strong supernatural theme as you undertake your quest to find your friend and unravel many secrets along the way.
Winston finds himself as an ordinary man in a very extraordinary situation... It is an ambitious project with 40+ embellished real world locations and a host of animated characters. We are all very much amateur game makers and this is our first major project, so expect things to be slightly 'agricultural', but we will do our best! We are aiming to finish the game by early 2014. We have been inspired by games such as the Gabriel Knight series by Jane Jensen, and other Sierra and Revolution classics. If you enjoyed those games, you will know what to expect with Mudlarks and hopefully enjoy the game!"
I knew that this would happen sooner or later. So this came as no surprise for me. Becouse i have always seen Dean Hall (the maker of DayZ, and ex New Zealand airforce pilot) as a thrill seeker. What i mean is that Dean don´t stay around that long (no matter the project), Becouse he gets bored and restless easly.
So that's probably one of the reasons why Dean Hall is leaving Bohemia Interactive and DayZ. Anyhow, this was what Dean said to Euro Gamer just recently:
"I am a grenade," he began, this time sat in the DayZ office in central Prague. "I have a specific use. I'm really good at risk-taking and making other people take risks, I've always been good at that in my life. Like you say, maybe I've got the gift of the gab, so I can talk, I can explain something, I can talk people up to the ledge and get them to jump off it.
"That's what I did with DayZ; I've done it twice now [once with the mod, again with the standalone] - two new code teams have separately done it.
"But eventually, that's the bad person to have. Eventually, you don't want the guy telling you to go over the top and get through. So at some point I'll be a disaster for the project, at least in a leadership role.
"And also, I never intended to be here," he added, referencing his original plan to stay months - as a break from the New Zealand army - not years (two and counting). DayZ swept him off his feet.
"And it's kind of like cooking in someone else's kitchen: I don't want to be constantly telling Bohemia that this is how I do it and this is the way we do it."
"Originally I wasn't going to do this year, but it would be stupid not to, and it would be unfair to the community. I have to be on the project as long as it's important to. Whether that role is as the leader, whether that role is in a more creative sense... But at a certain point there will be diminishing returns.
"The thing is, if I'm involved in the project, I'll be fighting anybody on the project to make sure it's good, so for the rest of the year, I'm there. And I don't just sit around; it doesn't matter if I'm the cleaner or the leader or whatever, I will be making sure - I will be in Marek's [Spanel, CEO] office yelling at him. I'm notorious for it."
He realises, too, that he'll never walk away completely from DayZ. "I'll be always involved," he said. "I would be surprised, and Bohemia would as well - I remember talking about this with Marek... I'll always be involved with it; there's no way to escape it."
"I saw what happened with Notch. That's why it's better to just address the elephant in the room." - Dean Hall
So much for the 2014 release.
Oh snap...O.J´s not going to like this at all. I´m of course talking about CD Projekt´s decision to delay their RPG game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to next year. But honestly, i think that was the right thing to do. At least that´s what i thought after reading CD Projects open letter (which you can read for yourselves further down the page).
So what do you think people? Did CD Project do the right thing by pushing The Witcher 3 release into 2015?
“We’ve created a story that flows naturally, cinematically, rendered it in amazing sound and visuals, while preserving full freedom of choice – all for you. We knew this to be an ambitious plan, but believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities. A project this vast and complex would inevitably require special care in its final stages, manual fine-tuning of many details, thorough testing time and again.”
“We recently reexamined what we had achieved thus far, and faced a choice about the game’s final release date. The decision we made was difficult, thoroughly considered, and ultimately clear and obvious. We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned. Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us.”
Sadly enough. This is not going to be a "happy happy joy joy" kind of article. Because i just heard that Ryan Green´s (the maker of "That Dragon, Cancer") cancer sick son "Joel" died just recently. And that made me really sad, because i know the story behind Joel´s suffering.
And the hell that Ryan and his family been put through. I had a really hard time holding back my tears when i read the background story of "That Dragon, Cancer". And if that wasn't bad enough as it already is.
Then i found out about the case with Brandon Boyer (the maker of the Kickstarter hit "Venus Patrol"). To make a long story short. Brandon´s insurance company Humana, screwed Brandon for $100,000 worth of cancer bills.
So i think it´s rather safe to say that it´s about time that we destroy this godforsaken monster named cancer for good. I hate cancer. People i know suffers from cancer, my grandfather died because of cancer. And as you may notice. People around us suffers from cancer.
Something needs to be done, and fast! In the case of Brandon Boyer. Please support Brandon by buying the indie bundle "A Bundle of Love for Brandon" for $25 (you will get a ton of awesome indie games and soundtracks for your money).
And to Ryan Green and his family. All i can say is this. I'm sorry for your loss, and may littel Joel R.I.P. At least Joel won´t have to suffer anymore...
"It wasn't until a few weeks ago when the formal denial letter came through that the gravity of the situation really hit home: because I hadn't lied when I saw my first doctor -- because I'd told them that I'd had stomachaches at any point in the past five years, whether or not I'd gone to a doctor for it -- I'd fallen under a fine-print pre-existing condition clause that said that any signs of illness that could possibly have led a doctor to a diagnosis since 2008 were cause for denying any compensation for any ailment of pretty much my entire alimentary canal.
Patient Advocate took a look at the letter and were super candid: the chances for a successful appeal were basically zero.
When I tell people this, their first reaction is always: I don't get it, didn't this just get fixed with the new Health Insurance Marketplace? And it did, and it's maybe the single most important part of the initiative, but it only covers anything from January 2014 on, and I had the misfortune of being self-employed & sick in America in 2013." - Brandon Boyer
Fake, or not fake. Only Bethesda knows. And they don´t comment on rumour or speculations.
I know that one ain't supposed to believe in rumors, hype or speculations. Especially not in the 21th century. When people can fake pretty much anything with the help of Photoshop. But i still wonder if there´s not a "little" bit of truth to the rumor about Arkane Studios Dishonored 2.
Because if you haven't heard it yet. Rumors has it that Dishonored 2 will be shown at this years E3 event. But when Vg247 reached out to Bethesda about it. They just said the following:
"we don’t comment on rumour or speculation.”
So you (we) can make pretty much what we want out of that matter. But i´m pretty sure that Dishonored 2 been under development for quite some time though.
Hitoshi Sakimoto did a really good job on the Dragon's Crown Soundtrack imo.
I just found out that we know have our 9:th 10K views video on Youtube. Because our Dragon's Crown Soundtrack video reached 10K views last night. So thank you so much for watching that video boys and girls =)
And "hopefully" we will have our first 100K video very soon! But i´m quite sure that we can make that happen if we keep on working hard =) Thank you once again!
I actually had to pinch myself twice just now. Because as we all know. It´s almost time for the "April fools" day again. And people tend to start of the whole "April fools" thing several days in advance. But this news story are actually 100% true.
Because there will be a Minecraft movie (yay!), and it´s going to be made by Warner Bros. It feels kind of logic though, i mean. Warner Bros did a great job with the "The Lego Movie". But i still wonder what the Minecraft movie will be all about?
Cuz as we all know. The Minecraft universe are humongous big. So the question would be how Warner Bros will be able to transform something so big, into a 1 1/2 hour long movie?
What´s your thoughts on this people? Will Warner Bros fail or succeed?
There seems to be quite some confusion going down regarding Naughty Dogs The Last of Us. I mean, if the game will come out to the PS4 or not. At first, it was said that the PS4 version were set for a release this summer (Sercan Sulun, PlayStation's Eurasian Software Market Manager. Via an interview on Turkish CNN).
But now, things are a bit more "uncertain". Because a Sony spokesperson told Polygon the following:
"At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject,"
The original comments and statements that fuled the hope for a The last of Us PS4 version:
"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," Sulun said.
"The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play Left Behind as well."
The Gaming Ground
It´s game on time!
Well, this weekend sure started off in a good way. Why? Because i just heard that Twitch broadcasting are now live on iOS =) So in other words. You can now stream your gameplay videos live via your iOS unit. That´s way cool imo.
"The Twitch broadcasting experience as finally gone mobile! Head over the App Store to download Asphalt 8: Airborne today and check out the Twitch streaming functionality. We're always on the look out for new mobile broadcasters to promote, so this could be your opportunity to be featured on Twitch or by Gameloft.
Currently, broadcasting is only available for next-gen devices including iPhone 5S, iPad Mini Retina, and iPad Air."
I have been experimenting with special effects and such for many weeks now. So i decided to try some of my newfound skills out. So, i made a little montage video for Dead Island.
So if you boys and girls like it. Then i will make more (and longer) videos like this one =)
Omfg! The Ninja Turtles are actually going to happen. I can´t believe it, but yeah. It´s 100% true. Because the Ninja Turtles movie are set for a release on the 8th of August this summer. But i don´t really know what to feel about the teaser trailer to be honest.
The Black Nerd was a bit more positive about the whole thing though. But still, you can´t really deny the facts. For example that the Ninja Turtles looks like a transformers movie, but with TMNT instead.
And yes, it´s yet another Micheal Bay movie (with a shitty story as usual). Then you have Megan Fox that will play April o'Neil on top of that. I also have to point out that the Ninja Turtles look like humongous steroid freaks.
So i don´t know. I just hope that the Ninja Turtles 2014 movie, won´t turn out to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III part 2...
"of course Michael Bay=Megan Fox. This movie is ruined." - Trent danielson
"teenage mutant NINJA TURTLES -- somewhere the "teenage and mutant" part got lost. WTF? Michael Bay?" - BeverlyHillsXak
"Really the turtles were created in a lab to defeat a horde of ninjas that had invaded New York? That's the best story you could come up with? Why destroy an already great storyline? It would be ok to mess up the storyline if you were replacing it with a better storyline, but I don't know... Well at least they aren't space aliens.." - Jason Gammon
The Ninja Turtles trailer
That´s what i would call a classic Star Wars lineup.
I just received a mail from Disney Interactive about their mobile action/rpg game Star Wars: Assault Team (for iOS, Android and Windows phone). So i checked it out (the trailer), and i have to say that it looks pretty neat imo.
That´s also why i´m going to give Assault Team a chance on my iPhone =)
"Disney Interactive had launched Star Wars: Assault Team for iOS, Android and Windows Devices. In this new interactive turn-based combat game with card battle elements, players will collect and assemble a powerful team of heroes to battle enemies and other players across the Star Wars universe.
Players will embark on epic missions to infiltrate the enemy fleet, find the Wookiee resistance, survive ambushes on the streets of Mos Espa, and battle across such planets as Tatooine and Kashyyyk for control of the galaxy.

The best, or the worst chest ever?
There are quite a few magical items to be found in Reaper of Souls. And some are some what "cursed". In other words, out of reach for me (and others). For example, i found this big chest which can not be opened (at least not for the time being).
And of course, "someone" made a joke about the whole thing. That it contained cursed porn (guys + alcohol + Gaming late at night = Stupid ideas and jokes). So, to make a long story short.I´m trying to find a way to open up that chest asap xD
Oh well, please enjoy part II of my D3 Reaper of Souls series people =)
I had a really nice chat with Deviever over Twitter last night. And while chatting, i found out about Deviever´s Zelda project. The idea is to transform Zelda into a Atari-like demake. In other words, Zelda will go from a Nes look to a Atari look.
I have to admit that i like the whole idea. Cuz i´m quite curious to know what a Zelda game would look like with Atari graphics. So i really hope that there will be a playable demo for the game asap. And who knows, if the project goes well.
There might even be a Zelda II Atari-like demake?
Yep, it´s out now. So whatcha waiting for? Go and download it!
The people at Introversion software sure are hard at work with their game Prison Architect. But thanks to their hard work, the Prison Architect Alpha 19 are now available =) So, game on people!
About Prison Architect Alpha 19:
"Balance sheets, Cash-flow, P&L, Shares. This month it's all about the greenback. Right from Alpha 1 the finance system has been broken - there's never enough money to do what you want to do, when you want to do it. Well, no more. We've introduced more grants, bank loans and the selling of shares in your prison to raise more funds. The mid game is now much more directed and focussed and really changes the way PA is played. Please let us know what you think!"
It´s yours for 100 bucks + shipment.
I just heard about the Wolfenstein: The new order Panzerhund edition box. And, well. Don´t get me wrong now. Because the box are fine and all. But where the hell is the actual game? :S I don´t know if it´s been like some kind of mistake during the photo session (or something).
About the Panzerhund edition box:
"Limited to only 5,000 individually numbered editions, the Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ Panzerhund Edition comes in a vintage footlocker-style box (measuring approximately 13.5" x 11.25" x 9") with a stamped number plate right above the antiqued clasp.
Inside, you'll find a classified folder affixed to the lid containing 11 classified documents (an assortment of maps, case files, and even an x-ray).
The bulk of the footlocker houses an 8" articulated Panzerhund statue. Made of high quality vinyl material (PVC and ABS) the statue is hand painted, includes a base, and strikes a surprisingly menacing pose for a scaled-down replica.
Inset in a velvet-lined tray is an exclusive SteelBook™ (G2), and a set of 14 full-color weathered-looking postcards of the game's alternate history, bound in a display book.
Lifting this tray reveals compartments housing a set of three high-quality, embroidered patches, and a box containing custom molded replica dog tags, looped and knotted on twine string.
This collector's edition does not include a copy of the game. Keep your pre-order at your favorite retailer and we'll send you these goodies separately—this way we can ship these boxes worldwide and you're not stuck waiting for your game to come along with an oversized, expensively shipped box.
Photos are of our prototypes; final products may vary slightly.
This is a Pre-Sale Item."
I just feast my eyes on the awesome Kickstarter project named "MyDream" (for PC, MAC and Linux). And what can i say really. The Kickstarter video just blow me away. So what are MyDream all about then?
Well, it´s a user-generated RPG for starter. And you (the player) can play and create in the big voxel-based 3D sanbox called "MyDream". In other words, you can "literally" create your very own dream world in MyDream.
So i was not surprised to hear that MyDream collected over $100,000 in just a couple of days via Kickstarter. And still there´s 15 days left on the Kickstarter clock. So i´m quite sure that MyDream will get like, 200-500,00 bucks before the Kickstarter campaign ends.
Time will tell. And oh! I hope to interview the minds behind MyDream asap =)
San Francisco, CA, 27th March, 2014 - MyDream is well on its way to market with the announcement that the game has surpassed its Kickstarter goal of $100,000 in just days. The fast funding demonstrates the excitement for the title and its potential to deliver a new kind of social sandbox game. As a result of the rapid funding, new “stretch” goals have been announced on Kickstarter including general Survival Mode, a rock creature breeding system, a tower defense system, a voxel vehicle creator and more.
MyDream allows players to experience unlimited, user-created adventures that are fun and encourage real-life skills such as creativity and collaboration. Currently in very early private beta testing and by invitation only, MyDream already features over 4.3 million user-generated 3D voxel objects. Through its system of rewards, the game promotes adventure, creation and cooperation. MyDream brings together gaming genres including sandbox, RPG and adventure, with realistic graphics to create a new type of open-world gameplay experience where MyDreamers can create and explore any adventure imaginable. The possibilities are limited only by the players' imaginations. More than just a game, MyDream is a community built on principles.
“When players enter the MyDream world they become immersed in a 3-D online gameplay experience unlike anything they have encountered before,” said Allison Huynh, CEO of MyDream. “Our Kickstarter campaign will help bring our vision of the final game to market and provide backers with special abilities including wings to fly, X-ray vision to see through walls and even a pet rock monster, all to make their experience even more amazing and fun!”
MyDream features three main “reward tracks” and players can “level-up” each of these at their own pace:
Exploring: MyDream has a massive number of adventures to join, with something for players of every level, from beginner to expert. The number of adventures available will grow by the hour, as every time you login, there will be new adventures to explore, created by the MyDream community.
Building: Players will earn rewards from the creation of three main items - new organic environments; the creation of buildings and other structures; and what many players will find the most fun, the creation of their own adventures to share with others
Cooperation: There will be incentives for players to work together and the MyDream world is built around positive reinforcement and teamwork."
Way back in time there was a racing/stunt game named "Stunts" (made by Distinctive Software, released in October 1990). And i really loved that game. Cuz not only could you do crazy stunts with a wide range of different cars.
One could also build his/her very own racing stages (in the Stunts built in track editor). And i sure built some really crazy stuff back then. That´s also why i smiled today when i found out about Grip Digital´s new stunt game "Jet Car Stunts".
Because Jet Car Stunts really reminded me of Stunts. And guess what? Jet Car Stunts are set for a release via Steam in May. And the PSN, PSV and XBLA release will take place sometime during Q2 2014.

I don´t know about you guys. But there´s no why in hell that i would try skydiving in real life. First of all, i HATE heights. And second of all, i´m not well known to be lucky. So i would probably ram into a tree (or something like that).
But thankfully enough, i don´t have to try skydiving in real life. And it´s all thanks to Gaijin Entertainment and Topware Interactive´s "Skydive: Proximity Flight". Speaking of which, Skydive is now available on the Xbox 360 =)
"Gaijin Entertainment and Topware Interactive today announced that the exhilarating sport of wingsuit flying is now available for download on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network as an Arcade game for the Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Inspired by the extreme sport of base jumping, Skydive: Proximity Flight sends you soaring over picturesque landscapes and majestic, real life locations. Skydive: Proximity Flight is now available for digital download through Xbox LIVE for £5.59 and €6.99.
“Skydive: Proximity Flight lets players experience the heart-pumping adrenaline of base jumping with realistic graphics, precision sound effects and stunning landscapes, all without the potentially horrifying physical consequences of the real thing”, said Kirill Yudintsev, Creative Director of Gaijin Entertainment. “And with Kinect support, this experience will be all the more real, so try not to hit your living room floor”!
Skydive: Proximity Flight features motion controls allowing you to speed up, maneuver and soar over exquisite panoramas of real life landscapes. Gaining confidence, you can then begin to control your body and execute mind-blowing tricks normally only attempted by professionals. For those of you who are exceptionally adventurous, Skydive: Proximity Flight also allows you to create your own death defying tricks and show them off to your friends."
Skydive: Proximity Flight Features:
- Xbox 360® users can soar using a gamepad or can choose to use their hands and body to execute dangerous tricks with help of Kinect™;
- Game modes include Adrenaline Race, Routes, Tricks and Freestyle:
- Adrenaline Race: Race against the computer, friends or other flyers on the leaderboard by using adrenaline to increase speed, rewind time to make adjustments and perform death defying tricks
- Routes: Try to fly through increasing more difficult routes marked by rings
- Tricks: Execute aerial maneuvers that increase in complexity, adding more danger and excitement
- Freestyle: Select any jump off location and create your own routes, incorporating difficult tricks and then sharing them with the community
I'm going to be totally honest with you guys. I´m not a big fan of golf. I just never liked the sport. Cuz i found it to be boring as hell. I mean, why should i play that when sports such as American football, icehockey, soccer, baseball and basket exists?
Well, you get my point. But i actually liked Gala Lab Corp´s iOS and Android game Dungeons and Golf World (it´s a free-to-play game). But then again, Dungeons and Golf World ain´t exactly your everyday kind of golf game either.
And if you watch the Dungeons and Golf World trailer. Then you will understand what i mean by that ;)
About Dungeons and Golf World:
"Time to tee-off! The number one Japanese golf game is finally available in GLOBAL mode! Take on players from around the world and help put your country where it belongs - at the top of the leader boards!
“I expected to play this for about ten minutes and delete it but instead the game play is superb and the setting is so laughably different that I could not help but fall in love. Dungeons & Golf World goes beyond just innovating arcade golf games, it pushes expectations as far as social gaming goes as a (w)hole…in one.”
(App Store Arcade)
Forget all the other golf games you’ve ever played. Forget the players in stuffy golf coats and the safe, green courses. This is a whole different ball game - a raging fantasy world of full-on golf combat, where your adversaries are not just your friends, but the whole golfing world!
Play golf? Hah! Play fantasy!"
The new version of Johnny Reboot uses the Unreal Engine 4 motor.
I really feelt like i need to do an update on Virtual Plague´s game "Johnny Reboot". Because not so long ago i wrote that the game just died on Kickstarter. Well, that´s true. But Johnny Reboot are not dead just because of the Kickstarter cancellation. Nope, i actually chatted a bit with Virtual Plague on Twitter today.
And that´s how i found out that Johnny Reboot are back in biz again. The game just needed a reboot. And this time Johnny Reboot will use Unreal Engine 4, instead of the Unity engine. So i guess that you could say (in a way) that Johnny Reboot are back from the dead (yay!).
Anyhow, this is the offical statement by Martyn Tranter (the brain behind Johnny Reboot) himself.
After reading a few articles that I found online, I feel really upset for not being able to continue the Kickstarter. But at the end of the day it was the right choice for us, with the story being so personal to myself, I just felt that Johnny Reboot needed more development time.
The game is far from over, we have decided that the best thing to do is change engines, from Untiy to the newly released Unreal Engine 4.
I want to thank everyone that has given us support in this big decision that we had to make, and i can assure you all, Johnny Will be back better then before!

I have to say that Blizzard have done a rather good job with Reaper of Souls. It actually made me think about the good ol Diablo 2 days.Cuz Reaper of Souls are wayyy darker than the original D3. But i should also point out that D3 are way harder now as well.
But that´s good, Because i love challenges. Anyhow, welcome to my very first Reaper of Souls video boys and girls =) Enjoy!

So much for the "Minecraft goes Oculus Rift" thing. Thank you very much Facebook!
I just love the fact that i always find out about the really big news when i´m about to go to sleep. Oh well, as it turns out Facebook have just bought the company behind Oculus Rift. And that started something of a flame war over social media.
And just now i saw that Notch didn't like the whole deal with Facebook buying Oculus Rift. So Notch will cancel the the Oculus Rift version of Minecraft. At least that´s what Notch wrote over Twitter.
"We were in talks about maybe brining a version of Minecraft to Oculus. I just cancelled that deal. Facebook creeps me out." - Markus "Notch Persson, Mojang
If so, then "maybe" Carmack could focus 100% on Doom 4 instead? If that´s the case. Then there´s at least one good thing to be happy about.
Well i'll be damned. It seems like Phigames crew will do a little world tour for their upcoming action/rpg/dungeon game "Tinykeep". But hold, there´s more! I also found out about the releasedate for Tinykeep as well. And it´s set for a release in September this year (via Steam).
If that's anything out of interest. Then you will find both the Tinykeep tour dates, and the press release further down the page =)
"MARCH 25, 2014 - The crew at Phigames have been burning the midnight oil and then some in preparation of taking TinyKeep on its inaugural European tour. We at Digital Tribe are happy to be a part of bringing this dungeon-escaping action RPG to the masses and can not wait for you to get a chance to meet some of the team and check out the pre-alpha.
While the game is in pre-alpha there will be plenty to experience. From the newly revamped Pocket Inventory System with interesting stat relationships and integrated procedually generated weapons and items to the inclusion of archers, fellow captives and the beginning seeds of enemy behavioral pathing there will be plenty to play when you see it at one of the following events."
List of Events:
EGX Rezzed Expo
28th - 30th March 2014
12th April 2014
Insomnia Gaming Festival
Ricoh Arena, Coventry
18th - 21st April 2014
Nordic Game Conference

Now i bet that you're wondering the following "What the hell does F.E.A.R.2 have to do with The Gladiator?". Well, quite a lot actually.Cuz later on in the game you have to slay your enemies on a big arena. So in a way, your a modern version of the gladiator.
You know, the kind of gladiator that fights with machineguns, shotguns and hand grenades. Well, you get the idea ;) So, please enjoy part 9 of my F.E.A.R.2 series!
I can´t really say that i have played that many space arcade action games on my Android phone before. But today i gave Fabrizio Carpentiero´s Space Tunnel 3D a chance. And it´s quite good imo. And still, Space Tunnel 3D are a free-to-play game.
So if you feel like playing a neat space action game. Then give Space Tunnel 3D a try!
About Space Tunnel 3D:
"Use your iDevice's accelerometer to drive a space ship through an endless tunnel. Increase your score collecting crystals and avoid asteroids and enemy or destroy them using your weapon. Use your crystals to buy better weapons and shields."
Last night sure was a special one. Why? Because i found out that the World Champion Martial Artist Kaelyn Whaley, has started to follow us on Twitter. And when i checked out her videos out on Youtube. I really feelt like she´s the female version of Bruce Lee (a very, very young Bruce Lee).
And Kaelyn are so full of life, wisdom and happiness (she helps others as well!). So i just feelt like i needed to do a video about her.Cuz imo, more people should hear about Kaelyn Whaley. Me, i think that she´s going to be the next big moviestar.
Anyhow, please enjoy the video people =)

If you want to laugh. Then listen to Gaming With Dummies!
There is not exactly a shortage of podcast´s on the web. But finding "good" video game podcast´s.That's A whole nother story. But thankfully enough, the guys at "Gaming With Dummies" followed us on Twitter not so long ago. And GWD just happens to have their own podcast.
Which actually are called "Gaming With Dummies". Anyhow, i listened to the very first episode last night. And i really liked it =) So, check em out people!
About Gaming With Dummies:
Deep down inside, i knew that this would happen sooner or later. I´am of course talking about having AVGN play (and review) Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Cuz we all know that AVGN just loves to play all those crappy games (no matter the format).
And Big Rigs just happens to be one of THE worst video games ever created to date. Me, i still don´t understand how the game got released as a retail product. More so, how the hell could you create such as fu**ing bad game back in 2003?
Seriously, Big Rigs has like, Playstation 1 graphics ffs...Oh well, at least it was entertaining to watch AVGN torture himself with Big Rigs xD
This has to be THE strangest thing that has ever happened to me. At least when it comes to the subject of animes. Cuz it´s not that very often that you hear about a anime 24 years after it´s release.
And i´m talking about a really good anime. So what anime am i refering to then? Well Cyber City Oedo 808 of course! At least i think it´s a really epic cyberpunk anime.
That´s also why i think it´s really sad that there were only 3 episodes ever made for cyber City. Oh well, please enjoy the video people!
So, that´s what the squirrel´s do when we are not watching.
I don´t know if it´s just me. But i have started to notice that Finland loves to make racing oriented games. Of course you got the world famous Bugbear Entertainment studio (with all their crazy racing games). But lately more and more Finnish indie studios has started to develop, and release games of that kind.
And today i heard about Digital Hammer´s upcoming iOS racing game "Moto Matt". So i checked it out, and it looks pretty promising imo. So i might just give it a go on when Moto Matt get´s released =)
About Moto Matt:
"Meet Moto Matt the motocross hero! Race through challenging environment with your motorbike while collecting all the acorns. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes but be careful because all sort of traps are waiting for you!"
- Fascinating game mechanics and smooth graphics
- Over 60 unique levels
- Various motocross bikes with abilities
- Multiplayer - Challenge your friends!
- Multiplay challenges requires network connection
Mondays normally sucks really hard. But thanks to Blackpowder Games it won´t suck as hard. Cuz they have just released their FPS game "Betrayer" via Steam! And the game is yours for $19.99 =) So, game on people!
"Seattle, WA (March 24, 2014) – Independent studio Blackpowder Games announces the release of its first-person action adventure game, Betrayer, the self-funded debut title from the creative team known for the acclaimed No One Lives Forever series and the original F.E.A.R.
Now available on Steam, Betrayer is an eerie, suspenseful action adventure in which players traverse a mysteriously abandoned New World colony in 1604, trying to piece together what happened to its inhabitants and survive the supernatural threats they encounter along the way.
“Betrayer is the kind of game we’ve been wanting to make ever since we shipped FEAR,” says the game’s designer and writer, Craig Hubbard. “You can explore large, open environments in search of clues and loot. You can tackle challenges aggressively or stealthily. You can outfit yourself with the equipment that best suits your play style. It’s a very player-driven experience.”
The game was initially released in alpha form as part of Steam Early Access in August of 2013, which allowed for months of additional development and refinement with input directly from the community. Many new features were added, including new game mechanics, UI improvements, and contrast and color sliders that let players customize the look of the game to their liking."
I'm probably not the only one that has been wanting to play a LBA kind of game for iOS and Android (it´s yours for $1). And thanks to Mobot Studios "Paper Monsters", we don´t have to worry about that anymore. Because Paper Monsters are as close to a mobile version of LBA, as we will ever get.
But there´s more good news. Cuz i also heard about "Paper Monsters Recut". Which will be released to PC (via Steam) and Wii-U sometime during the first quarter of this year. So if your into this kind of games, then you might wanna checkout Paper Monsters and the Recut version.
About Paper Monsters Recut:
"Coming first quarter 2014
Since the release of Paper Monsters, millions have explored Paper Land and fallen in love with its quirky cast of characters... which is exactly why we're rebooting the series for next generation consoles! Starting this winter with Paper Monsters Recut for Wii U players will experience:"
- New levels, redesigned levels, space levels. Did we mention new levels?
- More power ups, more bad guys, more of everything

About Paper Monsters:
"Dive into the world of Paper Monsters and watch a living world made out of paper, cardboard, and a few cotton balls unfold right before your eyes.
Paper Monsters takes all of the classic 2d platforming elements, combines them with cutting edge graphics and then packs it onto your iPhone or iPad."
Doomguy was born to kill.
Thanks to Zelousmarineinspace i just heard about a really neat fanmade Doom/Quake movie called "Arenas Fan Movie". And it was actually uploaded way back in 2011. So it´s kind of strange that i haven't heard about it before now.
Better late than never right? And if you like the movie, then don´t forget to donate money to the Quake Rebellion site. Becouse there will be no season 2 otherwise.
About the Arenas Fan Movie:
"The Quake III Arena and Doom universes are brought to life and thrown together in this 70 minute adaptation fan film by Joe Goss. Follow Doom's journey as he escapes Phobos and enters the fighting arenas of the Vadrigar. Music by Mystic Realmz Productions, starring Jack Pattillo as Doom, and directed by Joe Goss."
I´ve been wanting to do a video about KMFDM for quite sometime now. So i finally got around to make it happen today. Because imo, they deserve to be heard by so many people as possible. Funny enough, it was thanks to a video game that i heard about KMFDM in the 90s.
To be exact, it was thanks to the very first Mortal Kombat movie (the only good MK movie to date). But it toke a while for me to become a hardcore fan of KMFDM. Actually, i didn't become a "real" fan before the late 90s (98-99 sometime).
Anyhow, this is my take on KMFDM. So, please enjoy the video people =)
The Gaming Ground
It sure seems like Denmark are starting to become something of a big Gamer nation. Because more and more awesome games are being made in Denmark now days (Space Hulk, Max The curse of brotherhood with many more).
And now it´s time for BetaDwarf´s RPG/Arcade/Action/Co-op game"Forced" to take over Steam (it´s yours for 14 Euro). Sure, the game was released back in October last year. But it´s taken a while for everyone to find out about Forced.
So if you like the trailer. Then you might just wanna give Forced a try!
"Forced is a one- to four-player co-op arcade action RPG with puzzle and tactical elements. You are cast as slaves in the toughest fantasy gladiator school of them all, condemned to fight to the death, all the while attempting to win your freedom. You will face deadly trials and huge creatures, but Balfus, your Spirit Mentor will guide you in your quest to break the chains of oppression."
There will be ridable elephants in Far Cry 4 you say?
It sure seems like Ubisoft will try to make something really "special" out of Far Cry 4. Cuz if you haven't already heard it. Far Cry 4 are said to be set in the Himalayas, and yes. There will be ridable elephants. Ubisoft are very quite about all this though.
So if it hadn't been for Eurogamers source. Then nothing of this would have been known at all. But keep calm, cuz there´s more! It´s also said that Far Cry 4 will be released during the first half of 2015. And "if" Eurogamers source are reliable.
Then there will be some Far Cry 4 footage at this years E3 event as well. I sure hope that´s the case. Because i sure would love to see some gunslinger action from the back of an elephant!
It's your job to save the people in need from the deadly fire flames.
I don´t know if it´s just me. But i can´t really say that i´ve seen (or played) that many games that focus on Firemen, firefighting and rescuing people. But i just tried out Dyabit Games F2P iOS game "Firemen Rush". And imo, it´s a really entertaining and neat game.
I was also quite surprised over the fact that the Firemen Rush controls worked really well on my iPhone (cuz most of the time, they don´t work that well). So if you like the Firemen Rush trailer. Then you should download and play the game asap!
"Firemen Rush is a pixel art arcade minigame. A building is on fire, and you are the firemen. Your goal is to rescue as many people as you can, while avoiding falling rubble caused by explosions. How many people can you rescue? Demonstrate your ability, dominate the leader board and share your score!"
