Prey 2 lever - Release 2014?
Död eller inte död? Endast Bethesda vet säkert.
Turerna kring Human Head Studios Prey 2 har varit mång och långa. Från att ha varit nedlagt och dödsförklarat i februari månad i år. Till att ha återuppstått någon månad senare. Och därefter blivit bortplockad från Bethesdas hemsida för någon månad sedan.
Sedan får vi ju inte heller glömma bort att Prey 2 blivit framskjutet i tiden två gånger också. Först till 2013, och sedan till 2014. Så oddsen är verkligen inte de bästa för Prey 2s del. Det är mycket rykten i omlopp just nu, och många frågetecken som fortfarande hänger i luften.
Själv så hoppas jag verkligen att Prey 2 blir av. Då spelet tycktes kunna bli något alldeles extra. Men släpps Prey 2014 (som det ryktas om), då blir det nog till PS4 och 720 skulle jag tro.
“Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled but the game will not be released in 2012 as planned” the statement reads. “The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards.”
The post doesn’t clarify what went wrong with the game’s development, but it doesn’t bode well for the game’s future – nor for developers Human Head. Nonetheless, Bethesda claim to be taking steps to resolve the issue. “We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.”
